Half-Day Heritage Walk

The lanes of old Kashi do not explain themselves. This walk threads the galis between Assi and Dashashwamedh with a licensed guide who grew up in them: the hidden Nepali temple, a working akhada if the wrestlers are training, weavers’ workshops, and the kachori-jalebi breakfast stop your doctor need not hear about.

Morning walks start at 6:30 to catch the ghats waking up; the guide meets you at your hotel or a ghat of your choosing. Groups stay small — up to six — so questions are conversations, not announcements. Wear sandals you can trust on wet stone.
