Dev Deepawali — Single Decker Yuvraj Motor Boat
Twenty-five guests, and nobody watching over a shoulder. This is the shared boat we recommend to anyone bringing a camera, or to a family that wants to stand together at the rail for the aarti rather than take turns.
The route is the full crescent of the 84 ghats, with the Ganga Aarti viewed from the river, the laser projections on the palace fronts and the fireworks overhead. Snacks and refreshments are served on board and life jackets are provided. Three to four hours on the water, finishing when the scheduled shows do.
How it runs
- 4:00 PM sharp — Report at the designated ghatApproaches close to vehicles well before sunset, so late arrivals cannot be moved to a later boat.
- 4:45 PM — Boarding beginsThe boat then crosses to the far bank, where the whole illuminated riverfront is in front of you.
- 5:00 – 8:30 PM — The show beginsYour boat takes you along all 84 ghats — the Ganga Aarti from the water, the laser light show and the fireworks.
